India's first focus device

One quick scroll.
Somehow it's been 30 minutes.

bloc is a small device you keep across the room, paired with an app on your phone. Start a session and your feeds go quiet. The only way back is to get up, walk over, and tap your phone on bloc. No ignore button. No willpower needed. No five minute check that turns into an hour.

A one time object, not another monthly app. No subscriptions.

Meetbloc

India's first focus device.

YV“My mornings went to the feed, my nights to the scroll. So I built a way out.”Yash, founder of bloc
a grey fridge covered in travel magnets in a warm evening kitchen, with one spot still empty

So I built something my willpower could not argue with.

It lives on your fridge.

A magnet with a mission. Stick it once and it stays, far from your couch and your bed. That distance is the whole point.

Start a session.
Your feeds go quiet.

Instagram, YouTube, X, whatever you choose. Blocked on the spot. Calls and anything you mark essential stay open.

Screen Time asks nicely. bloc has no ignore button. The unlock lives across the room.

Want them back?
Walk.

Out of your room.
Through the hall.
To the fridge.

Tap. Unlocked.

And by then, the itch is gone.

Get your hours back.

You just scrolled the length of your house. bloc makes that walk the only way back to your feed.

I set a 15 minute Instagram limit every day. I tap Ignore For Today every day. I do not even think about it anymore.

I want to sleep by 10. I lie down at 9:30, reach for my phone for one quick scroll, and the next thing I know it is midnight. Nothing I tried worked.

A note from the founder

I built bloc for myself first. After years of every app blocker, every passcode trick, every digital wellbeing toggle, the phone always won. Your phone was built by people paid to keep you scrolling. Friction inside the phone is fake friction.

So I moved the lock outside the phone. A small object on the fridge that I have to walk to. The walk is just the bouncer. Most evenings now, I do not get up. The walk is short, but it is enough.

If you have been losing the same hours, this might be what finally helps.
